"Force Aspect Ratio" functionality not working properly

I have a 1280x800 display and Windows 8 installed. In Tools-> Preferences-> Video, I have set the value of "Force Aspect Ratio" to 16:10. It work fine when I play only 1 file. But when I open multiple files or open a playlist(of videos of course), only the first file that is played is shown with 16:10 aspect ratio and the Aspect Ratio is not forced for the subsequent files. This is my first ticket, so please excuse any mistakes.
