Http streaming client using Vlm is not working

I run VLC with telnet interface with this command: vlc -vvv -I telnet --telnet-host 0.0.0.0 and I create/setup/control a new broadcast:

new playlist broadcast enabled loop setup playlist input "http://live.radiopopolare.it/radiopop.m3u" control playlist play

VLM cannot get/reproduce the audio streaming.

If I reproduce the same audio streaming url directly with vlc ( http://live.radiopopolare.it/radiopop.m3u ), it works fine.
