vlc 2.0.1 mis-displays video; 1.1.11 works

vlc 2.0.1 mis-displays a video created from DVD by HandBrake 0.95: it shows a colored vertical bar down the center of the image, with or without hardware acceleration. A snapshot does not show the bar.

This also happens with certain other videos, but not all.

vlc 1.1.11 displays these videos correctly, so a workaround is to use vlc 1.1.11.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
