Video Problems with version 2.0.1

Hello, I recently instaled the lateest version of VLC. Everything works great except when I watch video on my TV with the hdmi out from my video card. The video is glitchy and some times freezes. I am now using an older version of VLC and have no problems. My OS is Windows xp home 32bit, and my video card is Gforce GTX 550 Ti. I hope this issue can be fixed.
