Audio Output Sorce won't change w/ System default Anymore!

I used to be able to switch between my headphones and my speakers as needed...until i reformatted 2 weeks ago, and downloaded the new version.

Now I have to close out VLC and restart it for the change to take effect, PLEASE fix this!
