Can't recover from bad playlist with repeat on

If the repeat option is turned on and a playlist is played with invalid files, VLC will iterate through every track and fail. This makes it not possible recover control of VLC.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open VLC and click the Repeat button
Open the attached .cue file
VLC is now stuck
