XP Direct3D subtitle blending issue

Windows XP Service Pack 3 [Fully Updated] + NVIDIA GeFORCE4 MX Integrated GPU

All subtitles and all text (such as Volume Control) in VLC 2.0.1 no longer appears properly. All text appears in fragmented blocks with black background. This happens with any kind of video file and any kind of subtitle file. On this same machine, this did not happen with VLC 1.1.11 or any earlier version of VLC. Attached please find screen grabs showing this. After the 2.0.1 screen grabs were made, 2.0.1 was uninstalled and replaced with 1.1.11 to make its screen grab.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
