Support for HiDPI displays

It would be great if VLC would support HiDPI displays.

Even though it is still some time in the future, it will be here eventually. You can already run OS X in HiDPI mode on 10.7.3+ to test the apps.

All the app icons would have to be redrawn @2x the size of the current ones. I haven't checked the source to see if the icons are available as vector, but if they are, then that would make everything a lot easier.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
