Regression #5016

[http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/5016|This bug (#5016 (closed))] is back again, on MacOSX (10.7-latest) with the latest binary release of VLC never fires either logging callback function.

I do not have access to Windows/Linux for additional testing, but it seems clear-cut, this function never fires, and there is nothing in the -vv log.

It seems a shame that this bug is back, I cannot be certain what events are supposed to fire when implementing an input-listener or meta-listener, but the script linked from that ticket does not produce anything in any logs for me.
