Disabling screensaver on KDE 4 doesn't work

Previous ticket about this issue: #2730 (closed). Looks like there is some regression in VLC or KDE - now disabling screensaver on KDE 4 doesn't work again.

VLC 2.1.0 git20120119 from ppa:videolan/master-daily PPA.

Kubuntu 11.10 x86_64 with KDE 4.8.
