"Open" dialog in new OS X UI has rendering issues

The Open dialog in the new OS X UI seems to have rendering issues, noticed both earlier during the nightlies and present still in 1.2-branch-intel64-20120104-0312.zip. This is on OS X 10.6.8.

The main content (or at least labels and text fields) in the Open dialog seems to not be antialiased - it's visible slightly in the File tab (in the checkbox texts at the left), but it's most visible in the Network tab. The description label below the text field is very thin, and the URL entered in the text field is ugly. While typing in the URL field, the text flickers, and after typing some letters, the text can disappear completely (and might flash and reappear when another character is typed).
