Mouse cursor does not disappear in full screen mode in any win32 version of VLC Player since V 1.0.5 Related software

MS Office pro 2003 - patched to latest
Mozilla Firefox - patched to latest
Google Chrome
Open Office - patched to latest
Bittorrent -patched to latest

Hardware solid and high end Intel 64 bit

Reinstall of operating system (format from scratch) - no change

Longstanding problem not related to terminal servers as this problem exists without OS system changes except Windows Classic interface. Works fine in Ubuntu but this is a slow rollout - rebooting operating systems to disruptive.
