Add an option to show system tray notifications when VLC is visible

Whether I'm in Windows or Linux, I like to use virtual desktops. VLC is located on Desktop 2, while Firefox is on Desktop 3. For occasions when I'm on Desktop 3, I want to see OSD notifications when my current radio stream changes tracks.

As it stands, I must ensure that the main VLC dialog is minimised for OSD to be active. This doesn't suit me, as I want it to remain visible on Desktop 2. Please add an option that lets users choose whether OSD remains active when VLC is visible.
