*.nrg not playing on vlc 1.1.10

I have a nrg video file which(has dts and dolby clips) which played fine on 1.1.9, but not on 1.1.10,

so I reinstalled 9 and its working, reinstalled 10 and its not working again, when i click play, it starts and stops within a second displaying nothing. I have reset preferences, deleted old pref and cache no change...other files are playing just fine..

nothing about it in the forms..

my os is win7 home premium,
