remember file associations during upgrade

During an upgrade, after an old version is uninstalled, previously deselected file associations are effectively reset when configuring the new installer.

Considering the size (101 entries) of the current list of file association options, it should be possible to carry these over to the new installer (for example in a temp file), if the user has opted to not "delete preferences and cache".
