"Play/Pause" button on keyboard/PC remote control NOT working
I am using VLC player ver 1.1.9 for windows XP.
When I use a mouse to click on the "Play/Pause" button, it works fine (i.e. music can be "played" or "paused"). However, it does NOT pause if I use the following input devices:
- Multimedia keyboard which has a "Play/Pause" key
When I press the “Play/Pause” key, the music/video does not pause. Howver, other multimedia keys on the keyboard work well e.g. “stop”, “next media”, “previous media”.
2.PC remote controller
When I press the “Play/Pause” button, the music/video does not pause. However, other buttons on the remote controller work well e.g. “stop”, “next media”, “previous media”. Note: I configure the HotKeys for my remote controller by: “Tools” menu > “Preferences” > “Hotkeys”
The older version of VLC player supported this feature. If I recall correctly, it was ver 1.0.5. This features is very useful for Home Theatre PC. It would be nice, if you could fix the bug as soon as possible.
