m4a files produced with VLC won't play on 2nd generation iPod Shuffle Model A1204.

VLC 1.2.0-git Twoflower (revision 5637ca81)

Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10 operating system.

This is the command used:-

cvlc foo :sout='#transcode{acodec=mp4a,ab=64}:std{access=file, mux=mp4,dst=test2.m4a}' vlc://quit
