VLC update downloads wrong version (PPC)

When upgrading VLC 1.1.7 through the automatic update, the program gets updated to the Intel version 1.1.8 on a PPC system.

I also tried to reproduce this, and it works fine for the normal update from 1.1.7. However, I was using a nightly build from January, and when I tried this again, it failed the same way as before.
