Reversed HSV color map

While doing some scientific simulations, I created an avi file showing the progression of the simulation. The avi was created by using MayaVi in Windows (v. 1.5, the older version of MayaVi) and automatically scrolling through the different steps. I then used CamStudio, to do a video screen capture of the MayaVi window.

The different vector orientations are represented by an HSV color map from blue to red. In Quicktime. The colors in the avi file display correctly, in VLC, including the nightly build as of Oct 5, 2010, the HSV map is reversed.
