Buffer not played out with dvd:// and dvdsimple://

I watch DVDs over a wireless link. As the link can occasionally slow substantially for a few seconds, I've set a very large caching value (30s) for dvd and dvdsimple sources. The average throughput is sufficient, and this gives uninterrupted playback.

VLC has a bug however: it stops playing when the point from which data is being read reaches the end of the DVD title/chapter, not when it has actually played to the point. With the default caching value of 300ms this is largely irrelevant, but with my 30s buffer, I lose the last 30s of whatever I'm watching. For programmes with short credits, this is very annoying.

This affect both dvd:// and dvdsimple:// on Windows and OSX. file:// sources are not affected, so this does appear to be DVD specific. I've not tried any other sources.
