VLC 1.1.0 OSX PrefPane causes crashes

CPU: iMac 8,1 (4GB, 2.66 GHz C2D, 256 MB ATI HD 2600 Pro HD) OSX: 10.6.4

Preference pane in VLC 1.1.0 causes reproducible program crashes upon modification in OSX. Happens in both 32 and 64-bit launches.

Steps to reproduce: -Open VLC, modify a preference, save. -Open preference pane a second time after the save, and before saving new changes, VLC will crash.

Even upon reopening post-crash, the same steps are reproducible; make a change, save, reopen pref pane, crash. Multiple crash logs included.
