VLC v1.1.0 Mac OS X - Crash on startup when "Keep current Equalizer settings" has been unticked

I started clean (manually deleted all old v1.05 prefs/caches/etc.) did some settings and... whoops... VLC didn't work anymore: It crashed everytime while starting up.

So i deleted all prefs again and searched for the setting i made which led to the crashs.

-> It is: Unticking "Keep current equalizer setting" in

All prefs -> Interface -> Hauptinterfaces (Main interfaces?) -> macosx

All prefs -> Video -> Ausgabemodule (Output modules?) -> macosx

saving, and closing VLC. Now it won't start up anymore.

This error is reproducable.

System: OS X 10.6.4 (MacBook Unibody) / German language
