'Device' list under 'Output' (for DirectX audio) EMPTY under Windows 7 / 64-bit
I am attempting to convince VLC to output audio through a non-default device. To this end, I went to Preferences > Audio, and under "Output", selected "DirectX audio output" as the "Type". A "Device" dropdown dutifully appeared underneath the "Type" dropdown. However, this "Device" dropdown was 100% empty. There were no choices presented whatsoever, not even the currently outputting device.
Restarting VLC did nothing at all.
This is on VLC 1.0.5 running on Windows 7 64-bit.
