Scene-replace fails with could not rename snapshot

When one uses scene filter with --scene-replace option, it doesn't work as it should because it cannot overwrite existing images. I think the issue is related to rename patch released in 2008 http://mailman.videolan.org/pipermail/vlc-devel/2008-September/050980.html

error message is

could not rename snapshot

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
