first 50ms are not played (e.g. wave file)

vlc (1.0.3) doesn't play the first 50ms of an audio file. Get the example wav file from the attachment and play it with vlc (or get it from: http://git.gnome.org/cgit/ekiga/tree/sounds/newmessage.wav)

If(!) you hear something (sometimes you hear nothing, then just replay it several times...) then you hear only a short "tip".

In opposite, with "aplay" or "audacity" you hear a deep "clock".

It seems that vlc doesn't play the first 50ms of an audio file.
