confusing delayed Interface initialization failed message
On this particular Solaris compile of VLC 1.0.1, while starting VLC, the following messages are printed to the console: VLC media player 1.0.1 Goldeneye [80dee04] main interface error: no interface module matched "globalhotkeys, none" [80dee04] main interface error: no suitable interface module [806287c] main libvlc error: interface "globalhotkeys, none" initialization failed [806287c] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.
However, it is not until one tries to exit the (otherwise functional) program that the following message is printed: Interface initialization failed
Is this expected behavior? It seems that the message ought to be printed earlier or not at all, as it implies that something went wrong during tear down.
