QT4: Automatically save the volume on exit doesn't work

With VLC 1.0.0 Automatically save the volume on exit doesn't work anymore. Enabling the option doesn't change anything so VLC doesn't remember last volume level. Same issue bothers VLC 1.1.0-git-20090707-2205. Tested under Win32.
