Can't watch dvb-c channels with VLC 4

My OS is based on Gentoo linux.

Here, the package to bring VLC 4 is media-video/vlc-9999. Mine is built with the following flags: a52 aalib aom archive cddb chromecast dav1d egl fontconfig httpd libass live lua matroska microdns mpeg musepack ogg opus rtsp samba skins soxr taglib truetype upnp vlm vorbis x265 xml -vaapi vdpau -svg.

Could not watch dvb-c channels with VLC 4 (9999), while I could with VLC 3 (from the flatpak or Gentoo repo).

I get errors like:

[00007fbef4000ec0] filesystem access error: cannot open file /home/msdobrescu/0 (No such file or directory)

To me, it seems it takes the stream from the wrong path.
