VLC Crashes Frequently, When Switching Audio Device, While Media Is Playing

I am on Win11 and have 2 audio devices: one that go to my earbuds (via external SoundBlasterX G5), and one that goes to my speakers (via integrated Realtek soundchip).

I frequently switch between them, via the speaker icon in the systray (also accessible via CTRL-WINKEY-V). And when I do, VLC will crash very often, if it just so happens to be playing something at that time.

The next time I start it, it'll give me the "VLC Crashed, Send Info To Developers?" popup.
