how to play the specific index.ts in index.m3u8?

i have continuosly storing the hls segments for 3.5 hours repeatly, when i played index.m3u8 in vlc, vlc was playing the live only. i want to play the 3 hours before content not live content using vlc source code. how to play the 3hours back content continuosly. please reply me.
