Some media files are missing from VLC Media Player file associations/some media files are unsupported

Files, whose only have missing file associations in VLC:

• Apple Lossless Audio Codec (.alac) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer, WMP Legacy),
• Apple QuickTime Movie (.qt) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer, Apple QuickTime),
• RealText Streaming Text File (.rt) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer),
• SK Telecom 3GP Video (.skm) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer),
• TrueMotion VP6 Video File (.vp6) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer).
• NEW: 8-Bit Sampled Voice (.8svx)

Files, whose are maybe unsupported in VLC (please comment if I'm right or wrong):

• 3GP Mobile Phone Video File (.k3g) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer, WMP Legacy),
• Sony / Mobile QuickTime Video file (.mqv) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer, Apple QuickTime, WMP Legacy).

Files, whose are probably unsupported in VLC:

• Windows Media Download Package (.wmd) (Supports also: WMP Legacy),
• Windows Media File (.wm) (Supports also: Windows Media Player UWP),
• Windows Media Photo File (.wmp) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer, Paint.NET),
• Windows Media Redirector File (.wmx) (Supports also: GOM Player, KMPlayer, WMP Legacy).

Other details:

• I'm using VLC 4.0 on Windows 11 22621.1635 (64-bit).
• Research made with Windows Settings's Default Apps settings, and with https://fileinfo.com/
