VLC 3.0.19 RTX wrong aspect ratio when using Direct3d11
Hello everyone. I am using VLC player 3.0.19 RTX Vetinari with the Nvidia super resolution feature on a RTX 3070. Direct3d11 is required to be used in order to get access to the nvidia super resolution ability. I am on Windows 11 with a 1440p monitor.
The issue is, whenever I play a video in VLC 3.0.19 while Direct3d11 is set as the output, and I resize the window in anyway, the aspect ratio is not respected and tries to match the window as fully as possible. This does not happen in Direct3d9 or OpenGL. This results in a distorted image.
I have a 1440p monitor. When I go full screen with a 640x480 4:3 video file, the resulting image is shifted to the left of the screen, meaning it is not centered, and the aspect ratio is obviously wrong as it looks squashed together and too narrow.
Here are some screenshots of what I am talking about that I have attached. One of the screenshots is in fullscreen with OpenGL as the output, and the aspect ratio looks fine. The other screenshot is with Direct3d11 as the output, and it looks too narrow and not proper 4:3.
I have also included screenshots of windowed mode, same window size, same file. Notice how the aspect ratio is respected in OpenGL, but not in Direct3d11.
