VLC cannot properly display this SVT-AV1 webm file with "Super resolution" feature

I encoded the attached file using Handbrake (SVT-AV1 10bit) with the "super-resolution" option. This uses anamorphic scaling at the codec level to reduce the horizontal resolution. It displays fine in chrome, iina, and ffplay. Also, the video dimensions list correctly in Mediainfo as 1920:800 (the display resolution).
But vlc cannot interpret it correctly. When I try to play this file, vlc constantly shifts aspect ratios, and displays black most of the time. The resolution in the info menu also sometimes incorrectly reports the internal scaled resolution, which doesn't make sense since the scaling is supposed to happen at the codec level.
