build errors with 1.0.0-rc2

when building vlc with the combinations: --enable-xvmc and --disable-libmpeg2 or --enable-pda build fails with the build errors attached to this ticket. previously pda failed to build with 1.0.0-rc1 but a patch (commit cde79fd9) fixed it, but that patch seems to be not of relevance anymore, it does not apply so i guess it has to do with something else. the xvmc build error was introduced in the rc2 version
