MP4 files - VLC not providing "save metadata" button so I can save movie artwork as tag for the file

I have seen a few videos online that state I can go to VLC media player (tools/media information) and change the artwork/tag associated with the movies I have saved. The VLC version I have doesnt even provide me with the "save metadata" button to do this.
