Where is the uninstall file?

Documentation references an uninstall file [https://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation:Uninstalling_VLC/], however both times I installed the app, there was no uninstall file.

Somewhere along the line, my first installation of VLC media player -- which was initially working perfectly -- exhibited an issue where the app wouldn't start at all (for details, see [https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?p=535060#p535060]). I decided my only option was to uninstall and followed the documentation to do so. However, no uninstall method was working.

First, I tried with Windows Add or Remove Programs, but got an error message:

"Windows cannot find 'C\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\uninstall.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

Then I moved to the second method listed ("Alternatively, you can browse to VLC's installation directory (for a typical install, go to your C: Drive and look for Program Files (if 64-bit, Program Files (x86) )→VideoLAN→VLC and double-click on the uninstall link and follow the prompts to uninstall."). But, that wasn't an option because there was no uninstall file available.

Isn't there supposed to be an uninstall file created during installation?

Thanks!
