FLAC music plays fine in Windows 10; cuts out intermittently in Windows 11---is a known Microsoft bug, but is there anything you all can do to mitigate?
All of my FLAC music files play fine on the VLC player in Windows 10, but cut out intermittently on Windows 11. I've spoken with Microsoft support, and they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix that will be deployed in some future release. Because they won't be specific about when they plan to release that fix, is there anything the VLC developers can do to resolve the problem? I'd be really grateful, as it's incredibly frustrating to try and listen to music when it just cuts out. I have hundreds of CDs ripped in FLAC format, and I really don't want to have to re-rip them in another format. I don't have the time! Thanks for considering this.
