VLC won't Open Network Stream if YouTube URL

VLC 3.0.18 Vetinari on Windows 10 64-bit

VLC refuses to play YouTube video streams.

Luckily, I found a workaround on YouTube (5-minute watch):

Step 1 ‒ Go to https://github.com/videolan/vlc/blob/master/share/lua/playlist/youtube.lua

Step 2 ‒ Right-click the Raw button and select Save Link As... from the context menu.

Step 3 ‒ Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\playlist (if you changed the installation folder use your intelligence)

Step 4 ‒ Click the Save button. Done!

P.S. According to the YouTube video, this bug was present in VLC 3.0.12.
