HDR curve setup issues when switching clips
I have two HDR files, one being PQ based HDR10 and the other a HLG compatible Dolby Vision clip (both having Rec2020 colors and being 4K).
When the clips are opened individually launching a new VLC instance, they are both fine (having no HDR screen, I mean the mapping to SDR is visually pleasing - correct)
But when the other clip is dragged into the playing window with the first clip, the colors go wild - depending on the order in which the files were opened and drag-n-dropped, the image is either desaturated or oversaturated.
This happens with "HW acceleration - Automatic" (Win10, GTX1060), and does not happen when acceleration is at DISABLE option. Further testing shows this happens with D3D11VA being selected, while the DXVA2.0 does either not show this bug, or it does not work at my PC, due to comparable 7-9% cpu load as to the DISABLE option.
I suspect the HW accelerated curve is not set up correctly when clips change?
I have added both clips to the playlist and clicking to pick one or other also results in misconfigured curves, as well as a natural clip transitioning from one to other because of end of file behaves wrong. So only the first clip plays well, and VLC has to be restarted when a different type of clip is played.
