subtitles poor rendering on MacOS
I have just upgraded to VLC 3.0.18 on MacOS Ventura on a MacBook Air 2022. The subtitle rendering is poor. Small fonts no longer look sharp - but instead, rather badly anti-aliased with a very fuzzy look to the letters. I have tried many different fonts, and various settings - turning off the borders, shadows, etc. So bad I'm going back to the previous version. The sample image shows what I'm seeing - very poor consistency in the kerning. Almost like it's rendered onto a much smaller canvas and then post-scaled to the screen. Awful. I hope this report encourages a review of the new rendering.
