FLAC audio file skipping (jumping)

Hello, i have recently updated my VLC media player on a typical Windows PC from version 3.0.17 to 3.0.18 and for some reason my FLAC files started skipping in some parts, this is happening on almost all my FLAC files, i downgraded back to version 3.0.17 and the problem is gone. Any idea how to fix this? I am not a n experienced programmer just a typical user. Also something important i want to mention, even though may be in the wrong section is that exactly the same problem is occuring on my android phone when i upgrade from version 3.5.2 to 3.5.3.
