Unsigned DLLs for Windows installer (NSIS)

While allow listing the publisher certificate VideoLAN I have found two DLLs are being blocked because they are not singeed, preventing installation. System.dll & nsExec.dll, all other files for install are OK.

Which DLLs are not signed and which binary package are you referring to ?

The .msi and .exe are the only installers, right? Opening the .exe from here with 7z, there is a $PLUGINSDIR folder in the root of the archive, containing System.dll and nsExec.dll, among others.

Those are the NSInstaller code, not the VLC code.

OK, does anyone have any contacts or clout to ask the NSInstaller folks to sign thier stuff?

I doubt we can do that, since we rebuild those libraries...

Makes sense, so then, my origional question. When you re-build the libraries can you sign them?
