VLC Media window resizes when a new media source is selected - CORRECTED BY UNTICKING THE PREFERENCE "RESIZE INTERFACE TO VIDEO SIZE"

When VLC media player has the window size reduced to a smaller sized window and a new Media source is selected. For example in from Media - "Open file" or Media - "Open Network Stream". When the video or stream starts to play, the VLC media player window resizes to an almost full screen size rather than staying at the original smaller window size.
