VLC 3.0.17.4 crashes on a wipe transition

I have VLC 3.0.17.4 on Windows 7x64 SP1 (Windows is updated up to Sept 2022)

VLC crashes when playing this file https://streams.videolan.org/issues/27401/

The crash is a little after 03:00, on a horizontal wipe scene transition. It happens every time I try to play the file but I can seek to 03:15 and resume playing without crashing.
