VLC nightly crashes playing interlaced video (assertion failed)

/vlc/nightly-win64/20220928-0426/vlc-4.0.0-dev-win64-debug-fe07979f.7z

The non-debug version is also affected.

When trying to play McCartney-MPEG2_1080-interlaced_sample.mkv interlaced video from this forum post, a message box appears:
