Pasting the URL to stream on Apple TV doesnt work(tvOS 16)(v3.3.9)

Here is my issue/bug -

Whenever I try to stream using Network Stream option, a pop up usually comes on the apple devices (usually my Iphone) and I paste the link there and I play. It usually works. I assume that the update has somehow broken it.

I had recently updated to tvOS 16. My current version of VLC on apple tv is 3.3.9.

Steps to reproduce -

1. Open Network Stream
2. Click on the text box
3. A pop comes in yourt apple device to type, where you can paste your link.
4. It doesnt get properly pasted.
