Position label on the timeline during play does not disappear on Surface tablets, probably all touch screens
When a video file is playing in VLC, there is a difference in behaviors if you click on the timeline progress bar with the mouse or trackpad or whether you touch the timeline with your finger.
On both a Surface Pro X and a Surface Pro 3 touchscreen tablets:
When using a touchscreen, if you touch the timeline to jump the playing of the video forward or backward of the current position a position label appears (i.e. "15:20") and it does NOT disappear automatically until you touch the screen again somewhere.
When using a mouse or trackpad and performing the same action the label appears but then automatically disappears after a couple of seconds once the cursor is moved off the timeline.
Usually after one clicks on the timeline to advance the play position the cursor is moved away from the clicked position and to somewhere else outside of the timeline, which causes the label to disappear. When using a touch screen the label never disappears unless the screen is touched anywhere outside of the timeline progress bar.
The effect of the bug leaves the timeline label over top of the video being played, unless the screen is touched again to clear it, which becomes annoying as it needs to be done every time the current playing position of the video is changed.
This has always happened with all previous versions of VLC I've used on both of these touchscreen devices and a couple of desktops.
Latest version of VLC, latest OS's.
