Cursor becomes invisible in VLC's video area when opening a modal dialog in VLC
Issue
- Open VLC
- Open a video and pause it
- Select: Media --> Open Media or --> Open Directory
- Hover the mouse over the VLC main window (edit: video area) in the background, not over the modal dialog

The non-closed circles are due to the "Track Mouse" mouse effect of kWin and indicate where the cursor is supposed to be.

- openSUSE TW 20220714 with Plasma 5.25.3 X11 + Wayland
- Fedora 36 with Gnome 42 Wayland
