VLC Crashes when attempting to play a Blu ray with Java menus
I'm running Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22000 Build 22000 Using VLC 3.0.17.4 64 bit with Java 8 Update 333 64-bit
I don't know how detailed you need me to be, but my computer runs 12-core Ryzen 4900x 8 GB NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2080 Super 64 GB of Trident Z Neo MHz RAM It's using an external Logitech Z906 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers
I tried producing a log file for the issue I was having, but when replicating the issue, it did not produce a log file in the directory I chose to save it in.
The issue can be reproduced by: Trying to load a Blu-ray folder that uses Java to display the menu, the VLC immediately crashes. My Java installation is set in path as JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_333 (Java installation path). I have tested other Blu-rays that have menus displayed with Java and they crash VLC just the same. Blu rays that don't use Java work correctly and as expected.
The Blu-ray I was trying to load was a backup copy of the 2022 version of the Studio Ghibli movie Only Yesterday.
