Silent Uninstall doesn't work

I'm using VLC player 3.0.17.4 x64.

When I run uninstall.exe /S, the player is not removed.

I assume this is to do with the language choice, because when I run uninstall.exe without the /S switch I'm asked to choose the language. /S just makes it silent, and I don't see the option for the language (and the player is not removed).

I've tried running it with the /L=1033 switch, but it still asks me to choose the language.
